Certified UL Labels
The information presented here is a brief description of the label constructions in which Bay Tech Label, Inc. is certified to produce UL labels. If you have any questions on the material please give us a call at 800-229-8321.
The short version: We can produce white, clear, brushed silver, gray silver and/or bright silver labels with the UL Logo. We can also print variable data like serial numbers and barcodes on them for you. Various constructions include: No overlaminated (blank labels), glossy overlaminated finish or matte overlaminated finish.

A basic white polyester label that can be used for printing variable data with a Thermal Transfer printer.
Bay Tech #2 – UL Certified
Color: White Mylar
Adhesive: Permanent
Overlaminate: None
Thermal Transfer Capable: Yes, with resin ribbon.
This is a basic white mylar label that can be used for printing variable data with a Thermal Transfer printer.
Bay Tech #3 – UL Certified
Color: Clear Polyester
Adhesive: Permanent
Overlaminate: None
Thermal Transfer Capable: Yes, with resin ribbon.
This is a basic clear polyester label that can be used for printing variable data with a Thermal Transfer printer. Be sure to specify a timing mark be printed on the backside of the liner for thermal printing.
Bay Tech #4 – UL Certified
Color: Silver Thermfilm
Adhesive: Permanent
Overlaminate: None
Thermal Transfer Capable: Yes, with resin ribbon.
This is a silver (gray) thermal transfer film that can be used for printing static and variable data with a Thermal Transfer printer. Typically not pre-printed since overlaminate is not an option.
