Bradenton, FL – Bradenton brewery Motoroworks Brewing has printed adoptable dogs on their private beer labels to support more adoptions for dogs.

The private beer labels were donated from Bay Tech Label company, to Motorworks brewing in support of the cause.

The beer labels act as a flier, and advertisement for the dogs who need adoption, A flier that people will take note of and read.

Why add adoptable dogs to the beer can labels? The reason is to raise awareness, and it is also getting more people walking through the dog shelter’s doors.

Two of the four dogs have already been adopted, ‘King” and “Morton”, but there are still many more waiting to go home.

The brewery’s director of sales and marketing, Barry Elwonger said adding the dogs to the beer labels was an obvious way to bring attention to pet adoption.

"Money is going directly to the shelter for that and we want to make sure that the people know about the different dogs that are looking for homes," said Elwonger.

Cant adopt? That is ok, “consider donating to ShelterManatee.com to help fund a brand new shelter” the beer labels says, for an Eight year old dog called Morton.

Manatee County Animal service outreach and even specialist Hans Wohlgefahrt works everyday to spread the word about ‘Day Day’ and every dog for adoption.

"She's so friendly, she’s like a tank, but with a heart of gold," Wohlgefahrt said. "In any given month, we can get up to 400 pets here. We are always looking for other strategies of getting exposure."

Day Day has been looking for a ‘forever home’ since March of 2019.

Bringing more attention to dog shelters and dog adoption could start with a nice cold beer from Motorworks.

"We decided to put four adoptable dogs onto the can for the release of our lager," said Elwonger.

"Money is going directly to the shelter for that and we want to make sure that the people know about the different dogs that are looking for homes," said Elwonger.

"There's hundreds more dogs that are looking for homes. We wanted to showcase the shelter has some really wonderful dogs and [encourage people to] go and check it out and look into a rescue," said Elwonger.
