Industrial labels and tags require top-of-the-line materials, adhesives, and protection to keep labels clean, tear-free, and to fully preserve crucial safety precautions, warnings, and instructions. Bay Tech Label can print and convert the materials needed to meet this type of durability for industrial labels.
According to OSHA, Labels for a hazardous chemical must contain:
- Name, Address, and Telephone number
- Product identifier
- Signal word
- Hazard statements
- Precautionary statements
There are only two words used as signal words, “Danger” and “Warning.”
Within a specific hazard class, “Danger” is used for the more severe hazards and “Warning” is used for the less severe hazards.
