Custom Warning Labels

Warning Labels

The United States implemented warning labels under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act of 1938.

A good example of a warning label is on alcoholic beverages concerning health effects. These labels warn the public of the dangers of alcoholic beverages. These labels reduce liability for a manufacturer or business by alerting the consumer of the possible dangers.

Another example is the proposition 65 warning, telling consumers that a product might contain chemicals to cause cancer, birth defects and reproductive harm.

Caution labelssafety labels, and warning labels can be a requirement for many manufactured consumer products today. Especially if a product or chemical is made in California, it must have a Proposition 65 warning label on it.

Label Uses

Warning labels are most popular stuck to an item or contained in an products instruction manual. These labels warn a human about the risks associated with the use of the product. Warning labels can also be used in a work environment or manufacturing facility to warn employees of dangerous equipment or areas.

Custom ANSI labels can help keep employees, staff, and customers safe by alerting them of the dangers in the area, or on a product.

Durable Warning Labels

Our warning labels can be tear resistant/tear proof if needed, or for more protection you can choose a tamper evident label material so that you can see if some one has attempted to remove your labels.

Hazard Labels

Hazardous labels can also be a requirement if you are shipping hazardous waste materials or if your package contains hazardous materials, or if you have hazardous materials in the work place. These labels are made to protect humans from dangerous materials, chemicals, and liquids.
